Famous in Saint-Emilion and Libourne area, Merlot transmits particular aromas to its wines. Except Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru appellations, the Union de Producteurs de Saint-Emilion produces wines from neighboor appellations but still around Merlot.
