Located in the South part of the appellation, in Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, Château Barrail du Colombier gets its name from the place situated on the property where doves usually stopped, called Colombier. Its wine is elegant, with soft tannins and providing an unusual final score.

On the nose, there are jammy fruits aromas (fig) with toasted hints.
On the palate
The fruits and tannins are balanced and well-structured. It has typical Saint-Emilion prettiness, freshness and elegance with juicy red fruits.

It makes a great partner for rich meats stews, herb-marinated steaks and chops, pasta sauces with sausage or bacon and even fresh soft cheese.
