Château Grand Bouquey is a family-owned estate, bought in 1956 by Mr Joseph Roblès (grandfather of the current owner); it has been member of the Union de Producteurs de Saint Emilion since 1957. Today, the vineyard is managed by Bernard Roblès (grandson), who is a member of the wine-coop and one member of the Board of Directors .
The name of the château comes from the name of the place where the estate is located., close to the medieval village of Saint Emilion.
