The deep gravel and the predominant planting of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon ensure this wine a tannic structure as well as a great aging potential.
Terroir
Gravel deposits, clayey subsoil, alluvial deposits.
In the vineyard
Double Guyot pruning. Mechanical soil work. Reasoned phytosanitary treatments without CMR, without insecticide. Total leaf stripping and selective sorting.
Harvest
100% manual.
Winemaking
Traditional Médoc method: a minimum of 3 weeks in epoxy-coated concrete tanks. Pump-overs twice the volume of the tank per day. Maintaining fermentation temperatures between 25 and 27°C. Malolactic fermentation following alcoholic fermentation.
Ageing
12 months in French oak barrels (50% new - 50% from a wine). Racked 3 times a year, filtered on cellulose plates before bottling. Bottled at the estate after 18-20 months.

Advice
Tasting
Dense garnet red with violet highlights, it reveals a fresh and intense nose with notes of mint and licorice as well as a fruity bouquet of blackcurrant, black cherry, roasting and pepper. A Pauillac with a typical and solid structure.
