Winemaking
Vinification involves parcel selection and a very extended maceration of approximately five weeks in small, thermoregulated tanks to achieve rich tannic structure. Extraction is carried out through punch-downs.
Ageing
The wine is then aged for about 18 months in oak barrels, with minimal racking and handling before bottling, all aimed at preserving the aromatic complexity.

Advice
Visual appearance
Deep garnet with magnificent violet reflections.
At nose
The nose is intense, revealing notes of ripe black fruits and subtle hints of vanilla and roasting.
On the palate
Great structure, finesse, and tannic density provide depth and length on the palate. The aromatic purity of perfectly ripe grape varieties is enhanced by complex and elegant wood notes.
Food pairings
This wine will delight you just as much with a grilled meat as with a Tournedos Rossini. It can be enjoyed today or be kept until its peak in about a decade.
Reviews
Concours de Bordeaux Argent
"A rich, opulent wine, this is full of dark tannins and powerful fruit. It's a big wine, with licorice and dense wood flavors that give a smoky character and reflect some serious extraction. The wine needs to smooth out to showcase its concentrated richness. Drink from 2024. " [+]
Wine Enthusiast, Roger Voss
"Plenty of nice, delicious fruit with cherry and currant character and some ripe raspberry. Some chocolate, too. Medium-bodied with round, creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. Drink now." [+]
