Terroir
Pebbles, rolled pebbles, gravel, sands mixed with silts and clays, real favours from the Pyrenean mountains brought by the Garonne over the millennia.
Harvest
Hand picking and mechanical.
Winemaking
Pre-fermentation maceration with cooling of the grapes (cold soaking), alcoholic fermentation at low temperature, long maceration with micro-oxygenation under the skin cap, malolactic fermentation in vats and barrels.
Ageing
100% French oak barrels, 1/3 new barrels.

Visual appearance
Deep, brilliant ruby colour.
At nose
Delicate and light blend of red fruits, mocha coffee. After aeration: complexity of black fruits, cocoa and spices.
On the palate
Soft and smooth attack due to the perfect maturity of the grapes, very long, fresh, roasted and very elegant finish.
