Advice

Serving
Serve at room temperature.
On the palate
Merlot-based, this wine has good, ripe structure with mouth-filling spicy fruit and fine length. Lovely plumy fruit is backed by fine tannins making for deliciously juicy wine.
Food pairings
This is a perfect partner for red meat, especially roast leg of lamb, although it makes a good match for roast poultry or moderately mature cheeses.

Reviews

90/100 - Argent
"Very perfumed nose of fresh tobacco, roasted tomato, coffee, and black fruit. Powerful and rich palate with a dense core of sooty black fruits, bramble, and dried herbs. Good intensity, ripe tannins, and long fruit finish, with ints of chocolate and vanilla. " [+]

"This is dark-fruited with walnut, cedar and mocha undertones. Medium-bodied with ripe, juicy tannins. Structured and toned with a vivid dark berry character and a flavorful finish. Drink after 2025." [+]
