Château Hoclet 2020

Since 1926, four generations have succeeded one another on the hillsides overlooking the Gironde estuary. The Hoclet family has been able to adapt and expand the estate over the years.
Made with the oldest vines, the plots are located on a plateau of Eocene gravel soils, which are naturally filtering and allow these old vines to explore and express all the typicity of their terroir.

Advice

Visual appearance
A deep red colour with hints of crushed cherry.
At nose
A marked complexity of mineral, empyreumatic and fruity notes.
On the palate
The palate is full and ample, with present but smooth tannins. The balance between substance and acidity is very good, and the finish is characterised by delicate woody notes.
Food pairings
This wine is perfect with entrecôte à la bordelaise or duck breast roasted with red fruit.
